We enjoyed the feel of the park, with infinite to wander and encounter wildlife--including more iguanas than I have e'er seen, some peculiarly large. Making a turn off of highway traffic, it feels very dorsum to nature when you become to the campground. We enjoyed the feel of the park, with space to wander and run across wild fauna--including more than iguanas than I have e'er seen, some particularly large. Making a turn off of highway traffic, information technology feels very back to nature when you get to the campground. The park has many activities, lots of shelters for picnics, walking paths, nice playgrounds for kids, and has the campground set back plenty to slow the step. Very friendly campers grow from various parts of the state. Shower houses and water park closed for Covid, just laundry available and accessible in the campground. I would only grouse about the price, though expected for a pop park in Florida in November.

We booked several days during the Labor Day weekend. Surprisingly the campground was peaceful and quite. The kids loved ridding bikes and playing in the playground. We booked several days during the Labor Day weekend. Surprisingly the campground was peaceful and quite. The kids loved ridding bikes and playing in the playground. Site 49 was next to the road that loops the campground but was well shaded for the hot South Florida days. The staff was friendly. Nosotros did not employ the bathhouse or laundry facilities. Really enjoyed the stay and will return.

This is a county park which gets heavy day use. There are numerous picnic shelters, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a water park and a golf driving range and mini-golf game. This is a county park which gets heavy solar day use. At that place are numerous picnic shelters, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a h2o park and a golf driving range and mini-golf. All of these amenities are well segregated from the campground which was pleasantly repose.
Sites can be a bit on the small side with non much privacy or separation. All sites take paved pads with a small patio area. Almost sites are back-ins though there are many pull thru's as well.
Plenty to do in the area with lots of attractions, shopping and eateries within an easy drive.

Later on our stay at Bluewater RV in the Keys we weren't ready to put the camper abroad for some other couple weeks then we booked a week here. After our stay at Bluewater RV in the Keys we weren't set to put the camper abroad for another couple weeks then nosotros booked a week here. I used to go to summer camp here every bit a kid and then I was surprised to notice they accept a pretty new campground on its ain little island in the eye of this local canton park. Full hookups and lots of activities in the park to exercise. We took the kids putt-putt golfing but hey have a driving range, batting cages, kids parks and a water park (when COVID is over this would make it extra worth it.)

We love this park for camping. We were assigned ane of the RV sites near the archaic camping, which backs right to the lake. The view and spaciousness is neat! Very quiet campground with a good walking/biking path all around the park.

I stayed here for two nights while doing some emergency tank sensor repair which required water and sewer connections, and compared to the cost of other full hookup campsites it was the almost affordable. Friendly staff, very organized, I had no trouble reserving a site via phone. Everything worked, site was clean, there were lots of activities in the park itself, including a water park! They have older RVs as well, which as the owner of a pre-owned, well-traveled motorhome I always appreciate. The sites were on the cramped side and there were noisy campers nearby—loud bass, loud talking and loud automobile door slamming—but the power to employ my air-conditioning unit without the generator fabricated up for it. It's on the high terminate of my price range though, so I would stay again during a cheaper flavour.

This park is one of Broward Canton'southward parks with camping. Outside of the campground, it is big, has lots of activities including a water park and plenty of paved walking/running trails. The campground is well maintained and has a full range of site sizes and placement. This park is close to a lot of shopping and services. However, we actually prefer TY Park in Hollywood which has a wonderful staff. C.B. Smith staff is adequate but not nearly as friendly and helpful.

Broward County has very practiced camping.
Not as convenient to downtown and the beaches as some of the other parks, merely all of the facilities are first rate.

The only campground we similar ameliorate than CB Smith is Fort Wilderness. What a dainty surprise this campground was. Very spacious and well thought out. They accept pull through sites in a conventional layout and clusters of 5 or half dozen dorsum in sites. There'southward plenty of open space between the clusters and the pull through sites. They take pull through sites in a conventional layout and clusters of five or 6 back in sites. There's plenty of open space betwixt the clusters and the pull through sites. Nice laundry facility. Campground is side by side to a large county park with lawn tennis courts, walking trails and a water park. There is a hospital and shopping mall across the street just you would never know it as the entire campground is surrounded by trees and shrubs. You would think that you're in the woods but you're really in the center of the city. If you're in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area this is where you want to stay.
